Spiking neural network (SNN) technology is leading to breakthroughs in the implementation of artificial intelligence. Unlike deep learning networks, which are power-hungry and require large GPU-Server clusters and weeks of training, SNNs learn in an unsupervised manner, without large datasets, and find patterns that humans may not be aware of.
